Why schedule an appointment?

Here are some common reasons for scheduling a graduate advising appointment:

  • Applying for a graduate program
  • Questions about SGSUP, Graduate College, or ASU policy
  • Help with understanding degree requirements

  • Teaching assistantships and other funding questions

Where are the graduate advisors?

Location: Coor Hall, 975 S. Myrtle Ave, Fifth Floor MAP

When you arrive for your advising appointment, please sign in at the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning front desk. Your advisor will come greet you at the appointment start time.


Meet the advisors

Rebecca Reining provides academic advising to graduate students in all SGSUP degree and certificate programs. This includes, but is not limited to plan of study, funding questions, degree requirements, milestones and defenses, and ASU, Graduate College, and SGSUP policies and procedures.

Students should direct questions regarding which courses will assist in reaching educational or career goals to their faculty advisor.

Zee Wilson’s primary role is to advise students through the application and admission process for all programs in the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning.
