Mission:
The Weather and Climate Club, a Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador, is open to all students and is focused on learning, sharing, and building a community resilient to weather impacts and events. Open to undergraduate and graduate students equally. Anyone interested in weather and climate is welcome!
Events:
The Weather and Climate Club hosts guest speakers from all over the country and provides opportunities for professional office tours, networking, internships, and more. Meetings consist of current weather discussions, learning about weather hazards, and building community between students, faculty, and professionals in the field.
American Meteorological Society Student Chapter:
The Weather and Climate Club is also a student chapter of the AMS. As a student member of the AMS, you get to meet and interact with the world's weather, climate, and water experts! Memberships offer many valuable opportunities, including travel grants, awards, and volunteering. Student dues are $20 per year, but an AMS membership is not required to be a general member of the club. Learn more about AMS Student Memberships
