Facilities Overview
If you have facilities requests, please send an email [email protected].
- The business office will assist with meetings & quotes for upgrades, renovations, furniture or office moves. Renovations are initiated with the College’s facilities team.
- We will assist in assigning offices or other workspaces.
- We will coordinate basic requests with FACMAN, such as carpet cleaning, light bulb replacement and painting.
- Any theft or damage of equipment or space should be reported immediately to the Assistant Director of Operations ([email protected]).

Safety Information
Good safety practices go hand-in-hand with good research and effective teaching!
- Help to keep areas clear of clutter and debris.
- Do not stack anything in an office or lab that is more than 18 inches from the ceiling.
- Wipe down equipment, surfaces and your hands regularly.
- Please be sure you are up to date on the required and recommended safety training. EHS Training | Arizona State University (asu.edu)
Always dial 911 for safety and/or life-threatening emergencies (fire, personal injury, suspicious package, etc.).
Keys and ISAAC Access
- Keys are automatically assigned to new staff and faculty offices and provided to the employee upon their first day of employment.
- Additional office and lab keys, or student worker keys (if applicable), should be requested through memonte5@[email protected], along with your supervisor’s approval.
- All lost or stolen keys must be reported to the ASU Police Department and the SGSUP Front Desk within 24 hours.
- Please call Key Control at 480.965.1829 to file a loss or theft report during business hours.
- Please be sure to turn your keys in to the business office upon termination, retirement, etc.
- ISAAC Access is granted to the elevator and COOR Hall 5th floor for work outside of office hours, during employee onboarding with the dept.
- If specific access is needed such as a lab, please contact memonte5@[email protected] and forward your supervisor’s approval.
Recycling and Trash
- ASU has implemented new sustainable trash & recycling guidelines. Trash is no longer guaranteed to be removed from offices or hallways if trash cans are left out overnight. Please be sure to empty your trash in a public area (break rooms, lobby areas, or the front office).
- Cardboard or other large recycling items should be placed in the blue bin that is located in the hallway by the NW stairwell entrance (across from office 5643).
- During the academic year, additional recycling and compost bins will be placed in the break room and copy room for coffee pods, batteries, etc.
