SGSUP Standards Committee Petition (UGRD)

The Standards Committee Petition is the common document used to request Third Time Course repeats and other additional things. Please review the below information thoroughly and use this form page to submit a completed document.

Petition Guidelines:
  • Petitions are for College of Liberal Arts and Sciences majors only.
  • The petitioning process can take 4-8 weeks from date of submission during Fall or Spring semesters. Summer petitions may take longer.
  • Incomplete petitions will be returned without review.
  • The ASU General Catalog is the governing document for all policies and rules.

Petition Forms:
  • Complete the petition form below based on your request and submit all required materials with your completed petition. Important: Do not attempt to fill out the form in your browser. Download the blank .PDF and then fill out the form in your local .PDF viewer, saving frequently to avoid data loss. Attempting to fill out the form in your browser will cause issues.

To save a copy of your DARS do the following: 1) Run a new DARS, 2) Click on File Print (or button combination ctrl + P), 3) change Printer to "Adobe PDF" or "Save as PDF," 4) click the print to open the save dialogue and save the DARS copy somewhere you can find and load to this form
