SGSUP at ASU's Open Door

This campus-wide open house celebrates the sciences, engineering, humanities and the arts with activities for teenagers, children, parents, teachers, alumni, entrepreneurs and the just-plain-curious.

What can you do in SGSUP's area on the east patio of Coor Hall?

  • See how ASU's new YouthMappers chapter makes maps that help increase food security, prevent disease, and improve disaster response; and give it a try yourself!
  • Take your favorite kid or kid at heart to explore a giant map of Arizona, designed here in our school, and brought to us by the Arizona Geographic Alliance.
  • See yourself in infrared and learn how infrared technology helps us understand how to stay cool in urban settings
  • Perform simple hands-on experiments to see how storms, tornadoes and more happen!
  • Bring your child, and build your urban vision out of Leggos!

Open to the public -- Free admission -- Free event parking.
