Noah Schumerth is a graduate teaching assistant and candidate in the Master's of Urban and Environmental Planning program. Noah has an extensive background in GIS, particularly in the application of GIS and spatial statistics to land use planning. Noah played a substantial role in the development of Forward!GB, the upcoming comprehensive plan for the City of Green Bay, Wisconsin. At his previous institution, Calvin College, Noah studied the relationship between homeowner's associations, public space, and alternative suburban communities such as New Town and New Urbanism communities. Noah has professional interests in comprehensive planning and how land use policies affect the distribution and quality of public space in North American cities.
