She is currently a duel masters student in the MUEP (Masters of Urban and Environmental Planning) and MSUS (Masters of Sustainable Solutions) and will graduate both programs in the Spring of 2019. Her applied project was titled Successful Affordable Housing Development Through Public Participation. She worked closely with stakeholders such as, affordable housing developers, the City of Phoenix Housing Department, Valley Metro, and affordable housing users. While in the School of Sustainability Kellie focused on ecosystem services economics where she studied the wastefulness and inefficient aspects of bee farming during almond pollination.
