Elyse Kats is a Masters of Urban and Environmental Planning student. Her particular interests range from sustainable communities to local parks and green infrastructure. She completed her undergraduate degree here at ASU in the School of Sustainability, and graduated with a B.A. in Sustainability in the Spring of 2019. 

Research Interests

Elyse has completed an undergraduate Barrett thesis entitled "Residential Choices Impact on Sustainable Transportation Options: A Study in the Phoenix Metro Area." This research was conducted with professor Salon in the SGSUP. 

Work History

Elyse is a current planning intern with an urban design firm in Arcadia, AZ, Espiritu Loci, Inc. Elyse's past work includes: research aide for the Decision Center for a Desert City at ASU and Water Resources Intern at the City of Scottsdale.
