BSP alum Ian Dowdy authors report on proposed new I-11 route

Ian Dowdy, who earned his BSP from ASU in 2004, is now a Program Director with the Sonoran Institute, a prominent economic and environmental research and advocacy group.  Dowdy authored a newly-released report that evaluates the impacts of a proposed new interstate that would connect Phoenix to Las Vegas.

“The I-11 corridor, in its broadest sense — including the successful integration of multiple modes including utilities, rail, and highway infrastructure — presents an incredible chance to capture new economic opportunities and define a new approach to infrastructure development,” says the report.
